13 Guestbook Ideas

So, first off, congratulations! If you’re here, odds are that you are engaged and planning the hundreds of details that go into your wedding! One of the seemingly small, but extremely important details on your wedding day is your guestbook.

You might be asking, guestbook? Why is that so important? WELL, let me tell you: it’s basically the ONLY thing that documents every guest that was at your wedding! Sure, you’ll probably have a photographer or a videographer there to get visual documentation of your wedding day, but the likelihood that every guest will appear in your photos or video is low! Plus, each of your loved ones can leave a personalized message of well wishes to you and your honey, which is so special and fun to be able to read and reminisce on your wedding day!

I’ve come up with a short list, and description, of different guestbook ideas that can reflect YOU both as a couple!

Traditional Guestbook

The traditional guestbook is obviously a staple and a classic. They’re just timeless!

Polaroid Guestbook

The polaroid guestbook is one of my personal faves! It’s such a fun way to get each guests face into the guestbook, alongside a little note they write for you as a couple!

Record Player Guestbook

The record player guestbook, or vinyl guestbook, are the perfect option for those couples that love music and vintage! It’s unique and a fun way to spice up the guestbook with something that you’ll use throughout your marriage!

Audio Guestbook

The audio guestbook is pretty new! It’s so unique and has become one of my FAVORITE trends. Your guests can pick up the phone and record a message for you and your partner to listen to throughout your marriage. How special!

Postcard Guest Book

The Postcard Guest Book is so unique and fun! Your guests can choose a postcard to sign and write a small letter to you and your partner.

Painting Guestbook

The painting guestbook is a wonderful example of making your guestbook apart of your home decor for after the wedding! You’re able to look at it everyday!!!

Globe Guestbook

I’m a sucker for this wonderful idea for a guestbook. Your guest can choose a location they think you should visit to sign not only do you get your guestbook, but you get a ton of travel recommendations as well!

Heart Guestbook

This guestbook is so cute and sweet! Weddings are all about love so what’s more perfect than hearts?! Also, it makes for a really sweet decoration afterwards!

Puzzle Guestbook

Are you hoping to be able to use your guestbook after your wedding? Having each guest sign one puzzle piece may just be the perfect guestbook for you! It’s a fun game and makes for great memories.

Bible Verse Guestbook

Having each guest sign a bible with a verse that they want to share with you is perfect for religious couples. It’s so intimate and personalized!

“Stairs” Guestbook

The common sign seen with the stairs guestbook is “Building Memories”! How sweet is that?! It’s not only a cool look, but also such a beautiful sentiment.

Jenga Guestbook

The Jenga Guestbook is another fun way to incorporate a way to use your guestbook after your wedding. Such a fun game for the whole family, and an awesome way to memorialize the people who came to your wedding!

Tree Guestbook

Similar to the hearts guestbook, this one has your guests sign little leaves! I love this one. Again, a great way to incorporate post wedding decor for your home, but also such a wonderful reminder of all the people that help your relationship grow.
